About FreeSip
Free water that's actually good
FreeSip is simple: brands sponsor water bottles, and we give them away for free at Auckland universities. No catch. No sign-up. Just good water, on us.
How FreeSip works
Brands pay to put their logo and a QR code on our bottles. That covers the cost of the water, the bottles, and the distribution. You get a free bottle of water. The brand gets seen by thousands of university students. Everyone wins.
It's advertising that gives you something instead of interrupting you.
What we care about
Quality water
We don't cut corners on the product. FreeSip bottles contain clean, filtered water that you'd actually want to drink. Free doesn't mean cheap.
Win-win model
Our business works because everyone benefits. Brands get a measurable, positive advertising channel. You get free water. We keep the whole thing running.
Ethical by design
We're not a charity — we're a business. But we built it so that doing well and doing good are the same thing. No tricks, no hidden costs.
Minimal footprint
We keep our branding simple and our packaging thoughtful. A FreeSip bottle is something you keep and reuse, not something you throw away.
Local first
FreeSip is Auckland-born. We distribute at Auckland universities and work with local and national brands who want to reach this community.
Transparency
We track QR code scans so brands know their advertising works. We don't collect personal data from people who scan — just anonymous engagement numbers.
Where to find FreeSip
FreeSip bottles are distributed at universities across Auckland. Look for our stands in common areas, student hubs, and event spaces.
We're expanding to more locations. Follow us on social media to find out when and where we'll be next.
